Blend 22 – No More Bugs

Description

Blend 22 brings together the essences of the plants that Mosquitoes, Midges and Flies naturally avoid.

Essences of Citronella, Lemongrass, Peppermint and Lavender combine together to make you smell unpalatable to the average insect.

The application

Firstly, your clothes; Simply add a couple of drops of  Blend 22 to the final rinse cycle of your wash or put it in with your fabric conditioner and your clothes will increasingly absorb the fragrance with each wash causing the insects to find your fragrance unpalatable.

Secondly, your body; the easiest thing to do is to add the essence in a dilution of 1 drop per 3mls carrier (i.e. 33 drops in 100mls of carrier be that oil or lotion).

If you buy the ph balanced, fragrance free, hypo-allergenic products (shampoo, shower gel, lotion, liquid soap, bath foam etc.) from your local supermarket and pour the contents into a jug then add the blend, stir it in (don’t whisk) until there is no undissolved oil and then pour it back into the bottle so that you don’t have to think about it again. That way, overtime, you will become increasingly distasteful to the bugs!

Body spray: To make a body spray you should mix the 5ml bottle with 10ml solubiliser and, once mixed, stir in 250ml purified or boiled and cooled water

Lastly, other external applications; The blend can be added to any light lotion, after sun or moisturiser or whatever else you might use as described above and apply before going out.

When to use – Use daily in Spring through to Autumn

General properties – Mosquito, midge and fly repellent.

Therapeutic uses – Only for the repulsion of insects.

Contra-indications – Very sensitive skins – To test your reaction to a blend or oil, simply apply a few drops of what you intend to use onto the gauze of a normal plaster and put the plaster on your fore arm leaving for 2 – 4 hours. If there is no reaction or irritation you should have no problems.

General advice – This blend is a preventative and the benefits of it are cumulative – don’t wait till the last minute to start using it.
